Today's Sonic Happy Hour drink of the day: Diet Coke with real crushed pineapple - folks I think we have a winner! It was mighty delicious and the melting ice is continuing to satisfy even hours later.
Lauren is being super domestic today. It makes me wish I didn't have to write a French paper and learn a Joshua James' song in ASL for tomorrow... and yet I blog. I know I'm a little backwards sometimes. She has baked an orange bundt cake with drizzled cream cheese frosting, and a homemade (crust and all) apple pie. I'm talking true-biz domestic. I'm thinking of making a fish bowl cake for this weekend - for a special surprise ;-) At some point my holiday baking will need to commence. I'm thinking monkey bread and cookies. Maybe I can get that pumpkin bread recipe from the Cornelius girls. *hint hint* Anyways domesticity is alive and well here in apartment 14 and I am itching to be a part of it! But alas...
...on that note it's time to again consider my paper on the death of French culture... Aaaaaaaand here we go.
