Maybe I'll knit a bag

The Friday Night Knitting Club.

Fabulous. I just feel like I need to put a word in for that book. Though it dropped the F-bomb a few too many times and maybe got slightly cliche at other times (not that bad though actually) I thoroughly enjoyed it. I rarely, if ever, cry when reading a book, but the tears just rolled at the end of that one. It follows all these women and what's going on in their lives and I could not help but relate to every single one of them. From the 40-something (name escapes me) who decided being a single mom was better than having no children at all, to 13- year old fearless Dakota, to 6o-something widowed Anita who found a second chance at love, I somehow found something to relate to in every character. It was heart warming and heart breaking. I laughed, I cried. sigh. It was just terrific gals. Terrific. (I say gals, because I assume few if any men have ever given the cover a second glance.)

On another note, I am 20. That is correct - I have lived 20 years on this fabulous place called earth! Lauren baked me this fabulous cake that served as dessert on the 14th and breakfast when I was packing up the next morning. It's Funfetti. I love Funfetti almost as much as I love your mom. Speaking of moms, Lauren's mom gave me chapstick. She loves me. Anyways, basically Lauren's a fab gal. We're fantastic froomies. We should have a reality tv show. NO joke. She even blogged about my day of birth.
Check it out home dizzzle.

She aaaalso hooked me up with these awesome earrings and some sweet-a shimmery bangles that make me feel like a belly dancer. Don't ask. Sooooo *ahum* happy birthday toooooo meee, happy - ... ok ok I'm done, but yay for not being a teenager anymore right? Birthdays aren't quite as cool anymore. Remember the days of old school birthday parties? You had themed plates and cups and a table cloth? Invited all your friends and then the classmates you hated? I had a Lamb Chops party once - off the hizzle my friends! It was simply OFF the hizzle. Julie was there. She'll testify. And who doesn't love Lamb Chops?
